According to Selangor FC head coach, Katsuhito Kinoshi, despite the absence of several players, preparations with the existing players were carried out well for tonight's match.

"First of all, we have several players with the national and under-23 squads, so adjustments need to be made to ensure we prepare the best for tonight's match. The players who are here have trained very well throughout this month's FIFA international calendar. With this situation, I may make a few changes, but I will still field the best team to produce optimal action for the fans," said Kinoshi.

As for the player’s availability, most of the players are ready to be fielded for this match to ensure the team advances to the next round.
